Worldwide Church Hierarchy Charged With Child Abuse

AUSTRALIA: The entire worldwide religious and corporate hierarchy of the church of Jehovah’s Witnesses were formally charged today in the State of Victoria, Australia, with the mass committing of criminal offences against children.

Criminal charges were officially filed today in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria, Australia, against the entire worldwide religious and corporate hierarchy of the church of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The charges allege ongoing breaches of the Victorian Working with Children Act 2005 as it applies to “religious organisations”.

An initial 35 criminal charges, alleging breaches of mandatory child protection laws, were individually filed against the following corporations and bodies as named in the court documents:

Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses (7 charges)
Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania (7 charges)
Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Australia (7 charges)
Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses (7 charges)
Faithful and Discreet Slave (7 charges)
All of the accused legally form part of the Committee of Management for the Religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the State of Victoria.
Each of the 35 charges carries a fine of up to Au$144,000.
All charges are in relation to allegations of unlawful activities carried out within the Traralgon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses by the entire Body of Elders within the Traralgon Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
All current members of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses are also facing potential arrest and charging in relation to each alleged offence as they
“knew of, or knowingly authorised or permitted, the commission of the offence.”
If convicted they individually face up to two years imprisonment per “offence” and even the possibility of being placed on the state’s Sex Offenders register.

been lurking for a bit, and feel safe enough now to tell my story (condensed).. i'm a third-generation born-in, but my parents were inactive for most of my upbringing.

this means i got the worst of both worlds--no worldly friends (home schooled all but grades 2-3), no witness friends (since we never went to the hall except for memorial), and a generally isolated upbringing in a tiny, tiny town.

needless to say, my emotional, social, and personal growth were stunted.

Ok.....here it goes...... I work in the industry so I hope I can help....

Before you start questioning your faith, you need to deal with your issue. If you don't you will carry it were ever you go. This is fact.

From what I gather it's more then a simple case of sexual frustration (you mentioned "how many times" and "scat", leads me to believe it's a heavy type of fetish/obsession).

If "anything" becomes an obsession there's an issue, even in the world.

I suggest you speak with a therapist, counsler or go to a program. Again, if it's not a simple case of sexual frustration, it will rule you and will overlap and or interfear with real life intimate relationships when you do have them. A professional can tell you what's normal or not. They deal with all types of situational experience...no worries....

i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

Please hon..I know this is overwhelming for you...the only thing you need to do right now is nothing.

If you need to talk about anything were all here. You need time to process. Your mind and emotions have been thrust into a violent whirlwind. Hold tight and wait for your emotional storm to calm....ok?

Hello Girl20...my heart goes out to you...

My chosen name "mind blown" is for the very reason of your mind set at the moment. I have been away from the WTS for sometime now and when I recently started research on my own...I was blown away by what I found. Ray Franz would have been sued for slander by the WTS.

I've thought about what I wanted to say to you as I don't want to be responsible either way for your desion, but i do agree with jws advice.

What I would like to tell you is, I have been in and still out. Many of the attitudes in are no better then the ones out. I have done almost everything there is to do out and still have a spritual thirst. The WTS can dictate all they want about love, however, it's obviously not effective enough for an embraching change within. From what I see in life.....the expression the shit rolls down is true......there is a problem.....however, what to do? If you still believe in the scriptures read them..but don't just cherry pick through......

There are many here who have various points of view. Some will resonate with you and others will not, however, you have the freedom, information, mind and heart to decide. Take it slow.
